Actress Jennifer Connelly says she’d happily give up fame and fortune for the sake of her loved ones. “The family is the most important thing to me,” says the star, who is married to fellow actor Paul Bettany and has two
children, Kai (12), who is from a previous marriage, and Stellan (6).
“Becoming a mother has made all the difference in terms of learning to take more responsibility for myself and my life,” tells the 39-year-old.”Parenthood changed the way I do everything.”
The actress does has a role in a forthcoming biopic about Charles Darwin but says she primarily took the role so she could be near her husband. “I loved the idea of being around and supporting him while he was doing it and that’s why I got involved. I thought it was an appropriate thing for us to do together and it felt very intimate working on it with Paul.”
