James Blunt has been accused of running over a fan’s foot as he drove away from an oscar party. A fan fell to the ground as the `You’re Beautiful’ singer drove his girlfriend Petra Nemcova away from the Hollywood party where they’d mixed with stars like Madonna, Tom Cruise and George Clooney. The injured man – who insisted James had run over him – sobbed to onlookers that he feared his foot or even his leg was broken. “The guy was lying there sobbing, clutching his leg and insisting he thought it was broken,” an eyewitness says. “He was lying on the ground for some time, rolling up his trousers and asking someone to call an ambulance.” But James and Petra appeared to be oblivious to what was happening as they carried on driving away from the Creative Artists Agency’s annual invitation-only A-list bash. “All I can do is confirm that James Blunt was involved in a traffic accident in which a man’s foot was run over,” an officer says.
