Melanie C, the artist formerly known as Sporty Spice, has split from her boyfriend of five years, construction manager Thomas Starr.
Just last year, Mel exclusively told New Zealand Woman’s Weekly that she couldn’t wait to have Thomas’ children. Now she’ll have to find a new man to give her the “baby Spice” she’s always dreamed of. And there’s more bad luck for the ‘Never Be The Same Again’ singer. Just this week she lost her record as the female singer with the most number-one singles in the UK. Madonna’s latest track, ‘Sorry’, is Her oadgesty’s 12th chart-topping hit. Melanie previously held the record with 11 – nine as a member of the Spice Girls and two as a solo artist. However, there is one reason for Mel to smile.
