Thanksgiving celebrations took a nasty turn when Halle Berry’s fiancé Olivier Martinez got into a brawl with her ex Gabriel Aubry.
Both men are in hospital – Olivier is suspected to be suffering from a broken hand and neck injuries, while Gabriel suffered a broken rib, wounds to the face and a possible head injury.
The fight broke when Gabriel was dropping off his daughter Nahla (4) to her mother Halle’s home in California, TMZ reports.
The incident reportedly broke out when Olivier apparently approached Gabriel and said, “We have to move on” – a reference to the trio’s custody battle, which prevented Halle from moving to France with Olivier and Nahla.
Gabriel reportedly began the fight by pushing Olivier and throwing a punch at his face.
“Olivier blocked [Gabriel’s punch] and the punch struck him in the shoulder instead. Gabriel then pushed Olivier to the ground, a struggle ensued, ending when Olivier pinned Gabriel to the ground,” TMZ’s source reports.
A judge has issued an emergency protective order stating that Gabriel has to stay 91m (100 yards) away from Halle, Olivier and Nahla.
