Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell’s new man, Russian multi-millionaire Evegeny Lebedev, is pulling out all the stops to impress his new girlfriend. Evegeny has spent $60,000 on a pair of solitaire diamond earrings for the singer as a love token. A friend of his explains, “Evgeny wanted to do something special for Geri and thought a pair of earrings would do the trick. He is a very classy guy so he didn’t want to get her something too in-your-face, or a big rock that might have scared her off. Geri was overwhelmed when he gave them to her, she felt so touched and loves showing them off to her friends now”. Geri and Evegeny have been enjoying each other’s company with a series of intimate dates recently. Evegeny is even considering going on Geri’s Spice Girls tour. A close friend of the singer says, “Geri doesn’t have much luck in love, so this pressie has really touched her. She is usually getting messed around by men, so this is a refreshing change for her.” In the past, Geri has been linked to men such as Robbie Williams, radio DJ Chris Evans and most recently scriptwriter Sacha Gervasi. Evegney once dated Sadie Frost although it ended it before it got serious.
