Gary Coleman in critical condition

Former child star Gary Coleman has been rushed to a hospital near his Utah home and is said to be in a critical condition.

While a spokesperson for the medical center could confirm that Gary (42) was admitted, she couldn’t release any more details at this time. However, according to the actor’s brother-in-law, Gary fell over and hit his head

The pint-sized actor, best known for his role in ‘Diff’rent’ Strokes’, suffered a seizure earlier this year on the set of the TV show ‘The Insider’.

Gary has suffered a string of health, financial and legal problems in recent years. He pleaded guilty to a criminal mischief misdemeanor in 2009 and this was followed by two kidney transplants, ongoing dialysis, heart surgery and pneumonia.

Update:Gary Coleman has died after his fall caused a brain hemorrhage. The actor died after being removed from life support, a hospital spokesperson says.
