Stepping into the shoes of predecessors Harrison Ford and Alec Baldwin, Chris Pine plays Afghanistan war veteran Jack, who is recruited to the CIA and shipped out to Russia when he notices irregular activity on the stockmarket.
Director Sir Kenneth Branagh does a good job of modernising a Cold War story, but it all gets a bit silly.
