Fans had their chance to pay respects to the late actor Michael Clarke Duncan in Los Angeles yesterday when the funeral home allowed a public viewing of the star’s casket, followed by a screening of The Green Mile.

No family attended the public event as they are expected to attend a private invitation memorial tomorrow. The actor died of natural causes on September 3 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles from complications from a myocardial infarction he suffered in July.

Many stars have paid tribute to the late actor including his fiancée, The Apprentice star Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth. “I am devastated. He was the love of my life,” she told Radar Online.
