Spice Girls singer Emma Bunton has confirmed she will be spicing up the next series of British reality show ‘Dancing on Ice’ as the newest member of the celebrity judging panel.
While the 33-year-old star has no ice-skating experience, a spokesperson for the show reckons Emma is the ideal judge due to her experience in the Spice Girls. The rep says, “Emma has performed to millions of people all over the world and will be bringing that wealth of experience to comment and score all of the celebrities’ performances.”
Emma has also had experience in the world of reality TV, coming third on the British version of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2006 and assisting Dannii Minogue with judging acts on British talent show ‘The X Factor’ in 2008.
“I’m so excited to be joining a show that I have been a huge fan of since it began,” says Emma. “To be working with Torvill and Dean… I can’t wait to get started!”
The line-up for the new series has yet to be confirmed but is thought to include Boyzone singer Mikey Graham, former ‘Coronation Street’ star Danny Young and even Sir Paul McCartney’s ex-wife Heather oills.
