Quentin Tarantino’s film Django Unchained is must-see cinema – and the soundtrack to this Western epic about slavery is equally unmissable. The film combines classic Western tracks from the likes of composer Ennio Morricone with original songs from rapper Rick Ross, such as quirky hip-hop track 100 Black Coffins, and John Legend’s haunting Who Did That to You? The musical mix is a great fit for a movie which a hokey splatter-fest, but also addresses the brutality of slavery.
