Coronation Street star Bill Roache believes the world will end in December. The 80-year-old, who plays pensioner Ken Barlow on the iconic soap, revealed to paranormal magazine Silent Voices that he believes in the Mayan prophecy that the world will end in 2012. “This will be the Golden Age, when a majority will know they are love and they are spiritual beings,” Bill said in his interview.

“The earth will continue to cleanse itself, while material and negative things collapse and cease to be.” Bill’s second wife of 31 years, Sara, died suddenly in 2009 and Bill also revealed in the interview that he believes in reincarnation.
“The energy and light of the Creator is love. Love is the life force, it is everything, it is the law of attraction,” he said.
“I have always known that there are beings around me, loving and guiding, and never more so than now.”
