It must have been a shock but Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria has already resumed work on the series after an accident last week in which she was struck on the head by a falling pole. Despite horrified gasps from onlookers the actress – who plays sexy Gabrielle Solis sustained only a small bump on the head and does not expect a permanent scar. “She’s fine. It was a minor incident and she’s ready to go back to work. She’s thankful for all the kind get-well wishes,” said a member of her staff.
