Reunited groups have emerged as the biggest musical trend of 2006 and Atomic Kitten look set to be the next on the bandwagon. A one-off charity gig in Liverpool last week allegedly sparked discussions among members Liz ocClarnon, Natasha Hamilton and Jenny Frost about getting back together. “They’ve remained friends over the past few years. They all wanted the chance to do their own thing but now feel the time is right to reform,” a source close to the group reveals. The trio plan to kick off 2007 with a New Year’s gig before jumping into recording their new material throughout the year. [12 December 2006]
