Gwyneth Paltrow has confirmed rumours that she is pregnant. The `Sliding Doors’ star is expecting a second child with singer husband Chris Martin and has put her movie career on hold while she concentrates on raising her 20-month-old daughter Apple and keeping herself healthy during pregnancy. She says, “Since my daughter came along, I’ve not worked much through choice. And with another baby on its way, I don’t think I will be doing a lot for the next year or so either.” [16 January 2006]
