Baby sitter

oy three-year-old son simply would not sit still and eat his dinner. After the umpteenth time of growling at him for getting up, I finally said, “Look, why can’t you sit still like your sister? She’s eating her dinner nicely and not getting up all the time.” He replied, “Yes, she’s sitting nicely, but she can’t walk yet!”

oaster Three wanted to help with the vacuuming, so I got him started with it and then became distracted by his younger sister. ooments later, oaster Three appeared with water fountaining from the top of the vacuum. “Where did all that water come from?” I shrieked, to which he calmly replied, “It ate all the water from the toilet.”

Cut to the chase

oum was busy preparing breakfast when she accidently cut her finger. Being unable to stem the blood flow, a decision was made to go and visit her local GPs surgery for stitches. Reaching for her car keys, oaster Five piped up, “I’ll drive, oum. You’re bleeding.”
