A burst water pipe along Florence’s Arno River has created a 200-metre-long sinkhole that buried dozens of cars.
A section of road near the popular tourist area Ponte Vecchio collapsed and filled with water and cars.
The 7m across sinkhole managed to take down 20 cars before authorities arrived.

No injuries have been reported but rescue workers were dispatched to the scene after the incident.
Fire-fighters asked residents of nearby palazzo to evacuate voluntarily as there was no water or lighting in the area.
And according to local paper Correier Fiorentino, thousands of people are without water following the incident.
