Baking soda is not just an ideal cleaner - it's also great for your face and body as a exfoliator.

Baking soda is not just an ideal cleaner – it’s also great for your face and body as an exfoliator. Make a paste with water and rub on your face and body before rinsing off. Your skin will be deliciously smooth. You can combine it with apple cider vinegar for a more effective clean. Or try this recipe for a dry-hair shampoo.

  • ½ cup rice flour

  • ¼ cup baking soda

  • 5 drops of your favourite essential oil

1 Combine the flour, baking soda and mix well. Slowly drip in the essential oil and stir until combined.

2 Sprinkle a little bit of this powder into your hair at the scalp. Rub it in well, then use a brush to remove any remaining powder. Your hair should look fresh and clean again.

*This is perfect if you want that blow dry or set to last another day before you have to wash it.
