We often turn to celebrities for their best beauty and fashion advice (for obvious reasons), but here at Now To Love, we’re particularly interested in their health and fitness routines.

Questions such as: ‘What makes them want to roll out of bed at 5am to exercise?’ ‘Do they have personal chefs to cook for them?’ and ‘How can we get rock hard abs and lean legs with minimal effort?’ come to mind.

Celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Miranda Kerr and Lady Gaga make maintaining our fitness and eating well look easy (meanwhile we’ve had a bagel at our desks for lunch three days this week…)

Because we’re nosy, and desperately want some motivation, we looked into the health routines of some of our favourite actors, musicians and models. What we found was enlightening, to say the least.

Some enjoy dog walking as their preferred exercise of choice (a ‘workout’ we can definitely get on board with!), while others have more wacky tactics (drunk diet, anyone?)

Check out the video above to learn all about the top 10 celebrity health and fitness hacks we’ve picked up.

How does Legally Blonde actress Reese Witherspoon stay in shape? Reese enjoys Body by Simone, a group fitness class that involves dance, strength training and stretching.

Reese also does yoga, enjoys running and Spin class and loves a good green juice.

Victoria Beckham has apparently adopted the ‘Five Hands’ meal plan.

This involves snacking on five palm-sized amounts of high-protein food a day – think salmon, scrambled eggs, tuna and sushi. The former Spice Girl has also cut out sugar from her diet.

Speaking to Sirius Morning Mash Up in 2013, Lady Gaga revealed she was on the ‘Drunk diet’.

“I like to drink whiskey and stuff while I’m working,” she said. “I’ve got to work out every day, and I work out hung over if I’m hung over. It’s about the cross-training and keeping yourself inspired. I have to say, I do a ton of yoga.”

Miranda Kerr lives and breathes wellness, so it’s no surprise she tries to work out four to five times a week. The Australian model enjoys reformer pilates, yoga, resistance training, dog walking and skipping.

The Duchess of Sussex has never been shy about her love of all-things health.

Meghan enjoys running, yoga (preferably candlelit or hot yoga) and Pilates. But her health secrets? She’s a big fan of green juice, doesn’t drink coffee and apparently adopts veganism one day a week!

Jessica Biel

Ever wondered what Jessica Biel does to get that killer bod and toned arms?

The star revealed to Fitness that she works out “like three times a week with a trainer. I also do yoga and I play volleyball in the summer. I walk my dogs all the time. I love to be outdoors.”

Kim’s trainer Melissa Alcantara told Women’s Health that Kim trains six days a week at 6am for an hour and a half! For Kim’s incredible body, the pair dedicate a day to working out her abs, and also do leg and butt workouts twice a week.

Actress and mum Kate Hudson is a big fan of reformer pilates!

Speaking to Self, Kate said: “Nothing, literally nothing, makes me feel like I’m back to my body more than pilates.” Kate also admits journaling and expressing gratitude keeps her happy.

Cameron Diaz revealed in her book The Body Book that her number one tip for a healthy life is to drink loads of water! She also said that she enjoys an active lifestyle which allows her to eat lots of carbs – which she loves!

Where do we begin to list all of Gwyneth’s health and fitness tips?

The goop founder and actress says ‘clean sleeping’ should be your first priority – even before your diet. Paltrow told the Daily Mail: “The lifestyle I lead is based not just on clean eating, but also on clean sleeping: at least seven or eight hours of good, quality sleep — and ideally even 10.”
