8 simple ways to relieve eczema naturally

Whether you or your little ones are afflicted, we have the answer.

I‘ve had so many emails from people who found that once they stopped using commercial laundry powders and started using my natural ones, their and their children’s skin cleared up.

• Don’t bathe in water that’s too hot or too cold – aim for lukewarm

• Apply natural, cold-pressed apricot oil after washing

• Cotton clothing is a must – avoid all synthetics or wool

• Stay away from acrylic nails – a study found the chemicals can cause dermatitis

• Use cold milk as a dressing. Soak a strip of gauze or a thin piece of cotton in ice-cold milk. Apply to skin for 2-3 minutes. Continue this process for 10 minutes

• Use calamine lotion

• Look at your diet. Eggs, orange juice and milk have been linked to eczema, but it can pay to have allergy tests

• Use white toilet paper with no dyes or added fragrance.
