Pamper your pa!

If you’re tired of buying the same old Father’s Day gifts, why not think outside the square? A bit of indulgence at a salon or a DIY treatment will have Dad feeling good in no time – and it definitely beats another pair of socks!

A relaxing foot rub Fill up a tub of warm water, add some nice relaxing oil and get Dad to kick back in his armchair and soak his feet for a while. Dry them off with a nice warm towel then, using some massage oil, give his feet a good old relaxing rub to soothe away all the stress you have caused him all these years!

Head massage What about a nice relaxing head massage while Dad watches his favourite TV show in peace and quiet? If you want to be really fancy, you could massage in a nice conditioning treatment for his hair.

Shoulder rub A classic shoulder rub never goes astray. Again, do it in front of whatever TV or movie he wants to watch.

A hot bath Get out Dad’s book, slippers, bathrobe, towel and maybe a glass of something nice or a cup of tea, and run him a bath with a little Dr Hauschka Lavender Bath ($38 from pharmacies and health food stores). Leave him to soak his worries away.

**De-fuzz

**Get Dad ready for summer. Trim his nose and ear hairs, wax the fuzz off his shoulders or back and pluck out those long, crazy stray eyebrows – but be careful and gentle, men have a lower pain threshhold than women! You could also follow up with a beauty treatment.
