It looks like all that Davina drama is in the past for Married At First Sight Australia’s Ryan Gallagher.
The 30 year-old reality star has been dating 24 year-old Kiwi model Ayla Browne for the past month – and things are looking serious.
“It’s my first relationship since the show and my first real relationship in the past four years,” he said. “She’s met my parents and everything… She’s the fifth girl I’ve taken down there… or actually fourth — I don’t include Davina,” he told Nine Honey Celebrity.
He is of course referring to his disastrous marriage to Davina Rankin on Married at First Sight Australia, which was marred by fights and a much publicised cheating scandal with fellow MAFS groom Dean Wells.

But Ryan has since put all of that behind him, launching a stand up comedy career and getting back out on the dating scene (he was previously linked with Love Island host and former Bardot singer Sophie Monk).
When it comes to his relationship with Ayla, even though it’s only been a short period of time, Ryan is already smitten and isn’t afraid to crow about it.
“I’ve definitely fallen for her but it’s only been a month. She makes me feel really good and I love having her around. I love taking her out and always having her there by my side. It’s really nice,” he said.
The couple met when the reality star was judging the Miss Hawaiian Tropic contest on the Gold Coast which Ayla was competing in, and the blonde bombshell didn’t even recognise who he was! (For the record, she was crowned first runner up and Miss Photogenic).
“She had never seen the show so she had no idea who I was or what happened, so it was really refreshing,” he told 9Honey Celebrity. “I didn’t go up to her because I was too shy so I texted her on Instagram asking her out and we went on a date the next night.”
And things have been going from strength to strength ever since. When Ayla had to fly home to New Zealand a few days later, Ryan booked a flight over here the following week.
“I flew to NZ seven days after we met. It was my first time over there and I’m going to go back again next week. She’s got a lot on so I’ll keep going there until she can move over,” he said.
As for how the meet and greet with his parents went, it was a complete success. “They loved her,” Ryan revealed. “She’s probably going to be with us for Christmas.”
