Ryan and Davina’s tumultuous Married at First Sight relationship was 100% one of the 2018 MAFS highlights, single-handedly providing the season’s biggest explosions.
Needless to say, they haven’t always been on the best of terms.
Since the show stopped filming and the contestants are attempting to move on with their lives, a few of the MAFS alumni are trying their hand at different kinds of entertaining. Ryan Gallager has launched his career as a standup comedian.
By all accounts, his act is said to be pretty funny, but one person not laughing is Instagram Bikini Model Davina, who has threatened legal action against her former husband for using her name in his act.
In a text that was exclusively obtained by the DailyMail, Davina Rankin ordered Ryan to stop using her as a punchline.
“Hey Ryan. It has been brought to my attention yet again that you have been using my name in your ‘comedy routine’ with you referring to me as a pig.”
“I wanted to reach out to you first and politely ask you to stop defaming me for your own benefit, before I take this matter any further.
“If you continue to mention my name for cheap laughs, I will be passing this onto my lawyers.
“It’s nice to have 10 minutes of fame, but please refrain from having to use me to get yours.”
Newscorp have previously reported that Ryan refers to Davina as “Babe” in his routine – Babe the pig that is.
Ouch!
Here’s hoping things get better between the pair soon.
