Few fans could have predicted the pivot that Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand’s relationship has taken as Married At First Sight Australia enters its final weeks.
However, as viewers continue to turn on this season’s unlikely villain, Dave, 36, his on-screen wife Jamie, 28, seems to be getting the last laugh – and it appears to be with a Dave lookalike!

A source tells us Jamie has been spotted around the Melbourne neighbourhood of Moonee Ponds with a tall, dark and handsome man who bears a striking similarity to Dave!
Our eagle-eyed sleuth says Jamie looked loved-up with the stranger at an Asian-fusion restaurant a couple of weeks ago. At first, the MAFS fan was convinced the man was Dave, however, on closer inspection, they realised it was actually a doppelgänger!

“She was comfortable enough to wear no makeup and cute activewear,” the spy says of Jamie, adding when they went back to snap a picture, the star fled the scene in a bid to not be spotted.
The sighting comes as Jamie’s star continues to rise following the disintegration of her on-screen marriage.
Just recently, she was mobbed by a swarm of fans as she attended a concert in Melbourne, with the group appearing to take a dig at Dave by chanting, “F**k these men!”
Support for Jamie
Some big-name fans have also thrown their support behind Jamie, including Kiwi star Rebecca Gibney, who called Jamie her “absolute fave” after bumping into her at our Woman’s Day photoshoot.
That support extends online as well, with Jamie’s 132,000 Instagram followers – the most out of the cast by far – set to make her a reported $350,000 a year in sponsorship deals once the show finishes. ‘
Jamie’s rising popularity has her castmates “absolutely livid”, a show insider reveals, adding that her co-stars were furious she got to fly solo to New Zealand to promote the reality show.
Married At First Sight Australia screens 7pm Sunday to Wednesday on Three and streams on ThreeNow.
