He wears Spiderman PJs.

During a visit to Scotland, Duchess Catherine saw a member of the public wearing a top with a comic-book hero on it and said: “George has Spiderman pyjamas but they are too big for him just now.”

He has a James Bond-style super-nanny.

Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo trained at specialist childcare college Norland College and her credentials include “experience in self-defence, high-speed driving, and dealing with paparazzi.”

Like his Gran, he’s already had coins created in his name – including a unique £5 coin created by the Royal mint to commemorate his first birthday.

He’s been voted the most stylish Royal, even-outranking his mum.

He can’t get enough of his food and the Duchess says that he is “permanently hungry”.

His early days were not spent at the Palace, as is tradition. Rather, Prince George spent his at the duchess’ family home in the village of Bucklebury, where this family portait was taken.

He is already the proud owner of his own boat. It was one of many extravagant gifts he received while on the Royal tour Down Under.

He is not a fan of bath-time or swimming! When Prince William made a recent visit to the Royal British Sub-Aqua Club where he showed off his own swimming credentials in the water, he said he hoped George would one day develop his love of the water but that “at the moment, bath-time is quite painful”.

He bears a strong resemblance to Winston Churchill – at least, according to his Uncle: Prince Harry.

Officially, he has no surname. As a titled member of the Royal Family, Prince George holds no legal surname. The same goes for all members of the Royal Household who hold the title of HRH, however if they need to use one, they can use “Windsor”.
