The palace has confirmed details of Catherine and William’s next royal engagement, which is scheduled to take place at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington. If Catherine is well enough to attend, this would mark her first public appearance since the news of her second pregnancy was announced on September 8.
Since then, she’s had to miss out on several scheduled appearances due to a condition known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which can cause extreme morning sickness. These events included the opening of the Invictus Games and what would have been her first solo royal tour to Malta, which Prince William ended up taking on in her stead.
If all goes well for this next royal engagement, it will be the first time Catherine has been seen out in public since the pregnancy news, and the first time she will debut her baby bump.
