The Duchess of Cambridge has been given a new job as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, hosts of Wimbledon.
It’s a position that has been held by the Queen for the past 64 years.
The monarch is believed to have handed the baton down to Kate because she is actively trying to scale back her commitments as she approaches her 90th birthday in April.
Kate is very sporty and an avid tennis fan. She, William and her sister Pippa are often seen at Wimbledon.
