After announcing in April this year that she’d undergone a double mastectomy due to her breast cancer diagnosis, Tom Hanks’ wife Rita Wilson has beaten the deadly disease.
“I am cancer free. I’m one hundred percent healthy!” she declared at The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment breakfast this week, People reports.

The producer, best known for her work on My Big Fat Greek Wedding, was first diagnosed with breast cancer in March.
Now that she’s in good health, she’s looking forward to going on tour for the first time with her band, and Tom will be accompanying her too.
