The Rock slams male ‘Fast 8’ co-stars

Looks like there's bad blood brewing between The Rock and some of his co-stars on the upcoming 'Fast and Furious' film.

There’s no definitive answer yet as to whom Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was referring to in his “chicken s–t” Facebook rant about some of his Fast 8 co-stars, but Vin Diesel is certainly rumoured to be in the running.

In a post commemorating his final week of shooting on the movie, Dwayne praised his “always amazing” female co-stars Michelle Rodriguez, Charlie Theron, Elsa Pataky and Helen Mirren. However, the former WWE champ had harsher words for some of his male co-workers, though he stopped short of naming names.

“Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don’t. The ones that don’t are too chicken s**t to do anything about it anyways,” he revealed.

“Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling – you’re right,” he continued.

Shortly after The Rock’s shocking outburst, Vin Diesel reportedly stormed off the set of the hit franchise after filming his final scene, saying to his Fast 8 crew “Daddy’s gone.”

The feeling is mutual between the two co-stars as Vin is reportedly furious with his new cast mate who, according to one source, really did “get heated with some other guys on the set”.

Dwayne- who plays bounty hunter Luke Hobbs in the film series – took to Instagram earlier today, sharing a video of the cast dressed in prison jumpsuits where he emphasised their achievements as a team.

“I believe in the idea of TEAM EFFORT. That means respecting every person, their time and their value when they step on to set,” he said.

However there where some key faces missing from his ‘team’ – including his male co-stars Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Scott Eastwood and Kurt Russell.

Seemingly hoping to put an end to the speculation, The Rock also wrote: “And like with any team – that’s a family – there’s gonna be conflict. Family is gonna have differences of opinion and fundamental core beliefs.

“To me, conflict can be a good thing, when its followed by great resolution. I was raised on healthy conflict and welcome it. And like any family, we get better from it.”
