Pop superstar Ronan Keating has posted a handful of up-beat photos from around New Zealand – and there’s not a microphone in sight.
The Irish singer his son, Jack, have flown to Aotearoa to follow the British and Irish Lions rugby tour.
According to one Instagram post, the trip is a birthday present for Jack, who turned 18 earlier this year.
While the rugby hasn’t quite gone their way so far, the Keating lads have made the most of their short time in the country, enjoying “great coffee” and meeting up with some of the Lions players.
The birthday trip is just the latest treat marking not just one, but two milestones in the Keating family this year. Ronan turned 40 in March, just a few weeks before Jack’s 18th birthday.
The family celebrated in style, with an extravagant joint party on a yacht on London’s Thames river.
And of course Ronan and his Australian-born wife, Storm, welcomed their first child together in April.
Wee Cooper Keating is Ronan’s fourth child – Jack has two younger sisters – Missy, 15, and Ali, 10.
The Boyzone star is no stranger to New Zealand.
Last year he teamed up with Hunt For The Wilderpeople star, Julian Dennison, to record a special Christmas carol for Air New Zealand.
