Mum’s the word for former Shortland Street actress Rebekah Randell, whose sister-in-law Jaime has thrown her the “baby shower of my dreams” as she and hubby Bevan prepare to welcome their first child.
“For the girl who didn’t want any kind of fuss made, I’ve been absolutely blown away with love for myself, Bevan and this wee baby of ours,” Rebekah, 30, tells Woman’s Day. “It was the most perfect day celebrating this next chapter with a room full of women who have been in our lives through all the ups and downs, and already love this baby as much as we do. I’m forever grateful for the village we have around us.”
Among the star’s friends and family were Rebekah’s Shorty bestie Courtenay Louise, who posted a sweet snap of the pair of them captioned, “My beautiful friend, I cannot wait until your little miracle arrives.”
The mum-to-be replied, “Little love is going to be obsessed with Aunty Court!”
Back in May, Rebekah shared the news that she was finally going to be a mum after suffering a devastating miscarriage. The star – who left her role as Shorty nurse Dawn Robinson last month – told us, “Holding this baby in our arms is going to be the best day of our lives.”
