The National Television Awards were in full swing on Wednesday evening, as the UK celebrated the brightest and best of the soap, entertainment and reality TV world.

Everyone from the cast of Coronation Street to Call the Midwife hit the red carpet in their best frocks to attend the evening – which was hosted by beloved TV presenter Dermot O’Leary.
