The Project‘s Carrie Bickmore gave an emotional speech as she accepted the 2015 Gold Logie, wearing a blue beanie and urging Australians to don their own today to raise awareness of brain cancer.

Carrie also won the award for Most Popular Presenter earlier in the night, but she wasn’t the only big winner at this year’s ceremony.

Asher Keddie won the silver Logie for Most Popular Actress for the fifth year running, joking that even she “thought it should be someone else’s turn”!

Love Child‘s Miranda Tapsell (who won Most Popular New Talent) used her speech to call for more Indigenous actors on Australian TV. Other winners included Home and Away (Most Popular Drama Program), Stephen Peacocke (Most Popular Actor), Kiwi Danielle Cormack (Most Outstanding Actress) and Luke Arnold (Most Outstanding Actor).
