Taylor Swift found fame as a country singer, and fans of that genre will no doubt be cross at her for sounding more like a pop princess on her latest album, Red. Still, it’s hard to stay mad for long, as this album is packed with catchy tracks. They’re a diverse mix; from The Last Time, an angst-filled duet with Snow Patrol’s Gary Lightbody (said to be about her relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal) to I Knew You Were Trouble which has a touch of Kelly Clarkson about it. My favourite, though, is the toe-tapping State of Grace.
