Despite having courted Hollywood for years, Victoria Beckham has decided to turn down her latest movie offer, after deciding acting “wasn’t for her”.
Apparently, the Spice World: The oovie star was offered a part in I Could Never Be Your Woman, which will feature Michelle Pfeiffer, but the mum-of-three wasn’t interested.
“Victoria was extremely flattered when the producers said they were desperate to sign her up,” claims an industry insider. “To say it was an incredible opportunity is an understatement. But she came to the conclusion that, nice as it was to be asked, putting herself up against Hollywood heavyweights wasn’t something she was interested in.”
Little-known fact: Victoria was runner-up to play the part that eventually went to Lucy Liu in Charlie’s Angels.
