Nicole Kidman has bought a house in America’s Deep South as a retreat for herself and her adopted children following news her ex-husband Tom Cruise is turning Isabella, 12, and Connor, 10, into Scientologists. The oscar winning actress, a Catholic who once studied Scientology herself, considers it psychologically unsound for her children and has told Tom how she feels. He’s ignoring her protests by continuing to have the kids schooled in his beliefs. Nicole says, “oy new home’s in South Carolina – I’m looking forward to spending quality time with the kids there. We’ve spent too many hours flying to and fro the US and Australia; now we’ll be more settled.”
