There are many red-carpet events for Hollywood stars at the beginning of the year, including awards evenings such as the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards, and actress Natalie Portman is hoping to survive them all without falling over.
The ‘Black Swan’ star, who is pregnant to her former co-star Benjamin Millepied, says she is less nervous about giving an acceptance speech for her award-winning performance than taking a tumble.
“There’s so much going on, I’ll just try not to trip at any point! I’m trying to protect my future child,” she said at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, where she won the outstanding Actress prize for her work in the ballerina film.
