Following the tragic death of her former fiancé Heath Ledger in February last year, it seemed Michelle Williams was moving on. But we’re sorry to report that Michelle and director Spike Jonze have split up after 18 months of dating. Speaking about her life with Spike in the wake of Heath’s death, Michelle has revealed, “The timing was impossible. I thought falling in love again was the only thing that was going to save me from the pain. This erroneous idea – it just makes things more complicated.” However, no matter how much she pines for Heath, Michelle says she’ll always have a reminder of him in the shape of their three-year-old daughter oatilda. “Every time I really miss him and wonder where he’s gone, I just look at her.”
