There have been rumours flying for months, but TV executives have confirmed that Khloe Kardashian will not be returning to host the third season of US reality show The X Factor.
“We really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best in the future,” a spokesperson said in a statement.
Sources told Us Weekly magazine that the 28-year-old reality star quit the show because it became “too much” for her to travel back and forth between LA, where The X Factor is filmed, and Miami, where she was taping episodes of her reality show.
“I am the master of my own destiny ,” tweeted Khloe shortly after the announcement.
Mario Lopez has held onto his job as host and judges Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell will also return.
