oovie heart-throb Jake Gyllenhaal has revealed he had ambitions other than acting as a child. The ‘Love and other Drugs’ leading man admits he once wanted to spend his days in the kitchen. “I wanted to be a chef. I’ve always loved cooking. I also wanted to be a professional soccer player, but my parents enslaved me into acting as a young child and it’s been a really tough life,” he jokes. Jake, who landed his first role at the age of 10, continues, “They let me audition for things. But they didn’t expect me to get cast, which is funny, and I didn’t either. So when I did get cast, they wanted me to stay in school. And I’m glad they did.”
