Heidi Klum has cancelled her annual Halloween party, one of the biggest celebrity bashes of the year, because of Hurricane Sandy.
“Hope you & your loved ones are safe after the storm,” tweeted Heidi. “Canceling my Halloween party… postponing to a haunted Christmas,” she wrote, along with a photo of herself on a post-hurricane street in New York City.
Heidi, who is famous for her elaborate Halloween costumes, had planned to attend this year’s bash as Cleopatra and had already posed for pictures in the over-the-top gold ensemble. In the past she has dressed up as Betty Boop, Lady Godiva, a cadaver and a robot.
