Halle Berry has confessed that she feels “like a man in drag” when she’s wearing too much makeup. The 43-year-old actress prefers the natural look, explaining, “Less is more. When I wear too much makeup, I feel like a man in drag. I prefer to be low-maintenance.”
Halle admits that since having her daughter Nahla 18 months ago, her beauty regime has become even lower maintenance. “oy beauty routine has changed since I became a mother. Now all my efforts are for her. I don’t style my hair much any more, but I do hers all the time!”
Not that Halle is complaining – the oscar-winner loves being a mother. “Motherhood will always be my priority now, especially because I had a child for the first time at 41. My priority had been myself for a long time, but now it will always be Nahla. You think you know what love is – until you have a child and discover that unconditional mother love.”
