Galactic battles, gargantuan starships and gravity-defying landscapes are just the beginning at LEGO® Star Wars™: The Exhibition, which touched down in Tākina Wellington in June. Featuring the largest-known collection of life-sized LEGO Star Wars™ models ever created, this must-see event is the ultimate interactive experience for fans of all ages.
Built from more than eight million LEGO bricks by one of the worlds leading LEGO brick artists Ryan “Brickman” McNaught and his skilled team at The Brickman, the interactive exhibition took over 25,000 hours to construct and is a feat of cosmic craftsmanship, with some of the models soaring a whopping four metres high!

Meticulously crafted at Brickman HQ in Melbourne, the blockbuster exhibition offers Kiwi enthusiasts the chance to see the cult-classic Star Wars franchise come to life through LEGO. Chart a course through galaxies built one brick at a time, relive the action of adrenaline-pumping lightsaber duels and immerse yourself in life-sized recreations of Star Wars’ most legendary moments.
And with six hands-on LEGO zones, 11 interactive activities and more than two million LEGO bricks for visitors to channel their creativity, it promises hours of intergalactic fun for the entire family.
The Tākina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre is the show’s only New Zealand stop and Wellington mayor Andrew Little is already fuelling up the Millennium Falcon.
