This surprise box-office hit is charming, sad, hilarious and real.When pensioner Woody receives a bogus letter stating that he has won $1 million, he becomes determined to travel across the country to claim his prize. Frustrated by the scam, but at a loss over what to do, his son decides to humour Woody and drive him there.
What ensues is a journey that brings father and son closer, and forces them to acknowledge some painful family secrets. Although a little long, this is a brilliant, beautifully made film.
