We’d give our left arms to be anywhere near as fabulous as David and Victoria Beckham. And it seems ‘Desperate Housewives’ diva Eva Longoria Parker is almost as admiring. The petite Latina has formed a close bond with the British stars and says she sees the Beckhams as role models for her relationship with basketballer Tony Parker.
“Victoria’s a lovely woman,” says Eva (35). “Both our husbands are sports stars and they both travel, and Victoria’s had some great advice for me on how to cope with that. She’s a great mother too. If you see her around her kids, you’ll see that everything is about them and David. She’s a good role model. I really want my marriage to be like hers.”
Speaking about her own husband, Eva adds, “I love being married to Tony. He and I get through things with a lot of laughter, plus a lot of the same goals and values in life. And it doesn’t hurt that he’s also the cliché of tall, dark and handsome.”
