The gripping series enthralled the Weekly office during its time on TV One, and from the first episode, it’s easy to see why. The eight-part murder-mystery cleverly intertwines drama with a whodunit plot, littering clues throughout each episode that will have you guessing right until the end. It boasts a talented British cast and leads David Tennant and Olivia Colman have a dynamic relationship that fluctuates between hatred and understanding. Simmering social tensions and suspicions make this the best series of 2014.
