Socialite Paris Hilton has shocked dog lovers by getting rid of Tinkerbell, her beloved pet Chihuahua. Apparently the poor pooch became too heavy for Paris to tote around after being fed a steady diet of junk food. While Tinkerbell has been sent to live with Paris’ mother, the Simple Life star has acquired a new, slimmer model Chihuahua, whom she named Bambi. Tinkerbell made headlines when publicity-seeking Paris allegedly `lost’ him before admitting she’d left him with her grandmother.
