Australian singer Delta Goodrem and her boyfriend former Westlife star Brian ocFadden have had to leave their New York home – because they can’t afford the rent. The couple had ditched Britain in favour of America to pursue their careers but a year of high rents and a lack of new income took their toll. Speaking of their stint in the US Delta admits, “It was frustrating. A lot of people just spend all their time there trying to make it but it’s a big place.” Sydney will be the new home for the pair, who want to focus their efforts on writing for other artists. Delta adds, “We have a load of projects we’re working on and hoping to develop as a songwriting team. I think we work really well together.” [2 oay 2006]
