‘Desperate Housewives’ diva Dana Delany says she’s lucky to be alive after a bus drove into her car! The actress was just about to film the first episode of new crime drama ‘Body of Proof’ – in which her character is involved in a nasty vehicle crash – when the accident happened.
Dana tells, “I broke two fingers and my car was totalled. I’m lucky to be alive. As I was turning, they hit my passenger side. The irony is, when I got out of the car, the driver said, ‘I know who you are! Can I have your autograph?”
The star doesn’t say whether she signed her name, however, we can tell you she was found to be the “at fault” driver. oops! Dana warns LA drivers to look very carefully when turning left on a yellow light.
She won’t be returning as Katherine on ‘Desperate Housewives’, but Dana says, “I had a ball. I had a great three years. It was an opportunity I couldn’t refuse, so I feel very blessed.'”
