Britney Spears has reportedly been banned from the internet and other media.

Britney’s former manager Sam Lutfi is suing the pop star’s parents for thousands in unpaid fees and defamation, and those close to Britney are worried her mental health will deteriorate if she’s made aware of the details of the court case. The decision to keep Britney offline is said to have been made by her dad Jamie and fiance Jason Trawick.

Producers of X Factor are also said to be “nervous”, and have requested a longer time delay for the upcoming live shows in case Britney (30) says or does something unexpected. The normal time delay for live shows is 7 seconds, but insiders say the producers are requesting a lot longer.
In 2008 Britney suffered a highly publicised meltdown, and friends and family are concerned that the current court case will bring back old demons.
