Given the extraordinary ticket demand by her Kiwi fans, superstar songstress Adele has confirmed she will perform a third Auckland concert on Sunday March 26th, 2017 at Mt Smart Stadium.
The news comes after reports that tickets for her first two dates sold out in under 30 minutes.
That wasn’t all the surprising news the ‘Hello’ hitmaker had in store, however.
During an Arizona concert earlier this week, the mum-of-one also dropped a bombshell on her fans, revealing plans of “having another baby”.
“I’ll see you later. I’ll see you on the other side,” she said, wrapping up the last show on the North American leg of her world tour.
“I’m going to have another baby.”
The mum-of-one welcomed her first son Angelo in October of 2012, with partner Simon Konecki.
Her first New Zealand concert was confirmed after the songstress hinted at rumours of a Kiwi show when she reached out with a message of support after the devastating Kaikoura earthquake last week.
“Thinking of you New Zealand. Stay tuned for more news.”
She later penned a handwritten note, announcing her first Auckland show.
The singer has been on tour for much of this year, heading all around the world to promote her highly anticipated third album 25.
According to the Herald, the shows will be at Auckland’s Mt Smart Stadium, where her set will be a unique 360 degree, in-the-round production.
There will be reserved seating on both the field and the grandstands and the idea is that, even though it’s a huge stadium show, it will still feel intimate.
